Double secret probation

By Matt Wilson | Filed Under Miscellaneous

Oh, Pacman. Yeah, yeah. You want to be called “Adam” now. Well, I want to be King of the Universe. Ain’t happenin’.

You lasted all of three games before you got suspended again. Did anybody really think this would work?

Anywho, nice to see the Cowboys imploding.

• Okay, so this probably isn’t real. It was probably staged for one reason or another. It’s a video of New Jersey Nets point guard Devin Harris supposedly getting taken to school on a playground by a London (yes, in England) streetball hoops legend.

But I don’t care if it’s not real. It makes American hoops look bad. There’s never been a time before now that American pros couldn’t go somewhere and be the absolute baddest mofo. Now — losing to British guys on playgrounds?

It’s all because skill went out of vogue in American hoops. It used to be a guy was an awesome baller because he could shoot, dribble and pass (like Magic Johnson, for example). Then pure, raw athletic ability became the only thing that mattered. Michael Jordan was the best player ever because he mixed those two assets almost equally.

America needs to get more guys who know how to play. More and more guys in Europe are learning the skills.
